Opening of the two-day event organised by the Municipality of Niksic in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, minister Petar Ivanovic said that these days “certain people” were trying to visit various towns, attract as many supporters as possible and hold useless political speeches, Mina-business.
“I think this is the best response to such initiatives, when we all come together for something that will benefit all. We have farmers who present their products and demonstrate the results of their work and other interested customers who want to enjoy the quality of the products,” Ivanovic said.
He added that progress in agriculture was visible and that changes were obvious since Niksic is managed by the President of the Municipality Veselin Grbovic. By these changes people who want to work got their chance.
According to Ivanovic, the goal is to increase the number and quality of products, and the fair in Niksic showed how it can be achieved.
“To all those who have worked and have something to show, I congratulate for broke tradition of empty talk, took life into their own hands and found a way to show what they can do to consumers,” said Ivanovic.
The President of the Municipality of Niksic, Veselin Grbovic, said that the New Year’s fair was one of the most beautiful events organised in Niksic during the year.
“I hope we can continue this way in the future,” said Grbovic.
Within the fair, a charity campaign will be organised. During the campaign, exhibitors will donate a portion of their products, which will be delivered to vulnerable families by representatives of Social Welfare Centre.
