Ivanovic: Russian sanctions will cost Montenegro €56,000

In an interview for the RTCG, she said that Montenegro predominantly exports wine and other alcoholic beverages to Russia.

“These two products account for 98% of Montenegro’s exports. The rest 2% is referring to mushrooms and tangerines. The value of mushrooms exports amounted to 39,900 in 2014 and tangerines exports 16,900. If the amount of 2014 exports of these four products were repeated, it would be reduced to 56,000. That is all the Russian sanctions against Montenegro would conditionally cost agricultural producers,” Mr Ivanovic explained.

He repeated he regretted the Russian sanctions.

“We have a good cooperation with Russia and do our best to improve the import and export on both sides,” Mr Ivanovic said.
