“The peace and security of the country is a starting point and a priority to Positive Montenegro. The second goal we want to achieve are successful Euro-Atlantic integration and this is the agenda of our party. The third goal is to have free and fair elections, and that is something that we think is necessary and that we want achieved through political dialogue that parliamentary parties must continue. Also, a successful fight against organized crime and high-level corruption is very important”, Jasavić said.
Crisis management is also a part of the plan, she said.
“We are currently discussing this plan in the Steering Committee of the party. It entails a mechanism that will prevent the elections being held in a manner of “Snimak” affair. Should they accept these terms, we will support the Government”, Jasavić said.
She added that since ever since the foundation of the party she was the key witness of deeds and misdeeds of both Government and opposition.
“Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will see fair judgments passed. In our judgment Montenegro must not lose, everyone else will and must, because they deserve to be losers, and Montenegro has to be a winner”, Jasavić said.
The conclusion from the head of Positive Montenegro, she said, is to suggest a crisis management plan to all political parties.
“We are going to set these conditions, those who are ready enough to consider and accept them will receive our support, be it the Government”, Jasavić said.
Considering the fact that 39 representatives stated that they would vote confidence, and 37 stated they would vote no confidence, and the fact that this leaves four representatives form Positive to decide, Jasavić said that not everything can be put on her party’s shoulders.
“It is not up to us whether the Government earns confidence, it is up to the Government. Should they accept our terms, we will vote confidence“, Jasavić was clear.
The session of the Steering Committee of Positive Montenegro is underway. After this session the president of the party Darko Pajović will hold a press conference in which he will announce what will be the stance of his party in the vote of confidence to Mila Đukanović’s Government.
