SNP leader Vladimir Jokovic told CdM that it was almost certain that the opposition would not have a common candidate in the upcoming presidential election scheduled for 15 April. According to him, none of the opposition candidates have the chance to beat DPS’s candidate in the first round.
“It is now certain that the opposition will not have a common candidate. Everyone will go their own way. SNP decision making bodies will decide on the way of running in the elections. I do not think that any of the opposition candidates have a chance to beat a DPS candidate in the first round. Eventually, there is a chance in the second round,” Jokovic said.
Explaining this position, the SNP leader said that an opposition candidate could have a chance in the second round only if he/she was supported by entire opposition.
When it comes to local elections in Berane and Ulcinj, Jokovic said that he was convinced that the Zdravo Berane coalition would win and that the party counted on one seat in the Ulcinj City Council.
