“MP Janko Vucinic is to call on all MPs in the Parliament, particularly those who voted for the adoption of our laws, to invite pensioners to enter the Parliament until our demands are fulfilled. We have accepted Vucinic’s invitation and supported it. Upon invitation of Vucinic and MPs, we will definitely have an opportunity to enter the building, at least some of our people. If they decide to invite us a number of us to enter the Parliament, that many representatives will enter, others will stay on the boulevard”, Rakovic said.
Former KAP workers, who require payment of €5.45m severance, announced protest radicalisation if the government does not solve their problem. They blame Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic for their problems..
“Djukanovic is pushing us to the growing tensions and anxiety. Djukanovic should be asked what is going on here… He does not apply the laws, stays aside and waits for something undesirable to happen. We have information obtained from Tarzan Milosevic, who was convincing us at three meetings that Djukanovic has nothing against fulfilling our demands”, Rakovic said.
On Monday, the workers blocked two major crossroads in the Podgorica downtown for six hours.
“We apologize to all citizens of Montenegro. This is something we do not decide about, but Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic. He is the one who decides on the length, intensity , radicalisation of the protest and everything else”, says Rakovic.
