Mr Periša Kastratović presented his letters of credence to Turkish president, Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and thus became extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Montenegro to Turkey.
Mr Erdoğan wished Mr Kastratović successful mandate. He pointed out that he followed Montenegro’s progress in all areas very carefully.
“In that context, Turkish president said that, with NATO accession, Montenegro had become an example to other countries who strive the same”, the statement said.
Mr Kastratović pointed out that he was privileged to represent Montenegro in friendly Turkey.
