The Municipality of Kotor planes its 2018 budget to be €20,979,000, which is almost €400,000 more than this year. The draft decision states that the municipality will most likely collect €7,970,000 taxes or €900,000 more than this year. The public hearing on the draft decision was launched two days ago.
The local government plans to collect €4,204,000 from fees, which is by €1,350,000 less than the amount planned for 2017 on that basis. Based on municipal utility fees €100,000 is planned to be collected. The fees for the use of the results from the geological survey will account for only €8,000 in the municipal budget, whereas €2,500,000 will be collected based on the construction land fees.
