President of the Municipal Assembly Budva, Đorđije Vujović, and the mayor of Budva, Dragan Krapović, attended today the conference and, on that occasion, they required that an independent councilor Stevan Džaković returns the term of office he stole.
Vujović also pointed out that, ever since the formation of the Assembly, councilors have been blackmailed by Džaković.
As he stated, blackmailing refers to the adoption of the Law on open lists, as well as the new Law on the election of councilors and Members of Parliament.
„Džaković brutally stole the term of office from Democratic Front. Therefore, DF and I demand that councilor Džaković returns the term of office. This authority, represented by me, has a clear political goal, and that is, the continuation of the coalition agreement“, said Vujović.
„We have been doing our job responsibly and conscientiously, respecting the interests of all citizens of Montenegro. It’s obvious that Džaković acted in a very inappropriate and irresponsible manner. We don’t consider him being the member of this majority anymore, and we’re publicly asking him to return the term of office and enable normal functioning of the this Municipal Assembly“, said Krapović.
