Krivokapic: Census Law to be in Parliament by 20 November

Zdravko Krivokapić

I fulfilled everything I promised to the late Metropolitan Amfilohije, PM Zdravko Krivokapic said on the RTS Oko show. Krivokapic also referred to the census and said that, as a rule, the census cannot be conducted in an election year. However, he said that the Government defined that it would draft the Law on Census in the last quarter, that the draft law was completed and that he expected it to be in Parliament by November 20.

“The harmonization with the European Commission must pass, which will last for a very short time because the law is simple and will be given to Parliament by 20 November. I don’t know when Parliament will pass the law. The census rule is to conduct it in the spring or fall. It depends on Parliament whether the census will be next year”, stated Krivokapic.

When asked whether the chapel on Lovcen would be renovated, Krivokapic said that everything would come in its time.

“Every time brings its own solutions”, Krivokapic said.
