Asked how he perceives support of Sergey Lavrov to the Open Balkans, the Foreign Affairs Minister, Ranko Krivokapic, has said that everybody wants to be recognised as part of a great initiative, and he’s not surprised to see that Serbia has been trying to do it as well.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been preparing an analysis in this regard and the Prime Minister is about to get to know all of its elements. We don’t know what it means, there’re many stories but little elements. In my opinion, the processes which have proven to be good will survive, while some will fail. We’re monitoring the OB, we see that Russia sees it as its process. For now, we’re just observers, we shall see,” he said.

Commenting on the decision to ban flight of Lavrov’s plane and his threats afterwards, he said it was inevitable having in mind the obligation Montenegro had taken on.
