Krivokapic: Working title of the agreement agreed; the document is not acceptable only for SNP

Within the working group, talks about the ministries and state administration have been started. The talks will be continued tomorrow when the media, particularly the Public Broadcaster, will be discussed.

There is a certain step forward: a working title of the document – Political Agreement of the Government of Electoral Trust has been agreed.

“The SNP participates in the dialogue, but it will not sign the political agreement, because it requires a separate law on the government, which is not acceptable to other subjects. Other entities are on the agreement path, which does not mean it has been finally reached. All these the days represent steps forward, but the final move should be made by the authorities and political entities which are to decide if the agreed things are enough to take responsibility for forming the government of electoral trust,” Krivokapic said.

SNP’s proposal to conduct a referendum on Montenegro’s accession to NATO simultaneously with the elections was not discussed at today’s meeting.

The dialogue has already reached the stage when it is known which posts the opposition may get in the government, ministries, companies and agencies.

“This will be the subject of a political agreement. Subsequently, we will discuss just the lex specialis, if there is a need be for it, which will regulate those items of a political agreement,” said Krivokapic.

Krivokapic is an optimistic, and believes that the agreement could be reached by the end of next week.

“After the entire agreement is reached, every political entity has the right to check whether it is enough to take responsibility for participating in the government of electoral trust,” Krivokapic said.

The meeting was attended by Dusko Markovic, Ranko Krivokapic, Rafet Husovic, Miodrag Lekic, Spasoje Kovacevic, Ivan Brajovic, Zarko Rakcevic, Azra Jasavic and the head of the EC Delegation Mitja Drobnic.

Representatives of the Democratic Front (DF) and the Democratic Montenegro do not participate in the negotiations.
