The Labor Inspection report says the head teacher of the Podgorica ‘Slobodan Skerovic’ Grammar School, Biljana Vucurovic, made a series of omissions regarding deadlines and actions after she found out that a professor, Radoman Cecovic, sexually harassed a former student of that school, Sara Vujisic.
The CdM portal had an insight into the mentioned report from 12 December 2024, suggesting that disciplinary proceedings against the professor were taken “via email” after more than 20 days from the day the head teacher Vucurovic found out that professor Cecovic had violated working obligations.
The report underlines that the email doesn’t comprise complete personal data of the employee – his position in the school, description and timeline regarding the working obligation.
At a news conference held three days ago, Minister of Education, Science and Innovations, Andjela Jaksic Stojanovic, said education inspection would propose dismissal of Ms Vucurovic.
According to her, Ms Vucurovic would have three days to provide justification. After that, education inspection would submit a proposal and documentation to the minister, who should make a final decision.
Minister Jaksic Stojanovic noted she would act in line with the law.
