During the five-day extraordinary assembly of the Bar Association, lawyers mostly stated that they were against concluding an agreement with the Ministry of Finance. This means that the suspension of providing legal aid on the territory of Montenegro continues, Dnevne Novine unofficially founds out.
Out of 970 lawyers entered in the Association register, 295 voted electronically in favour of signing the agreement, while 385of them voted against.
The extraordinary assembly of the Bar Association started on 1 July and ended the day before yesterday. During those days, the lawyers electronically declared whether they agreed for the Association to conclude the agreement with the Ministry of Finance or not.
Some of the lawyers contacted by Dnevne Novine did not want to give a statement on whether they were for or against the agreement before the official announcement of the Association.
