The agony of Montenegro Airlines (MA) workers is not over. They haven’t received salaries for 6 months, the ministers and the Prime Minister haven’t responded to their letters, and bankruptcy, which would alleviate their problems to some extent, is not even in sight, Vikend Novine reports.
Workers’ representative Miljan Perović says that the employees are on the edge of existence, which is why he once again urges Minister of Finance Milojko Spajić and Minister of Capital Investments Mladen Bojanić to find a way to pay the workers everything that legally belongs to them.
Another MA workers’ representative Valeri Đekić says that a faster reaction of the institutions, which are ignoring the workers’ problems, is needed.
He adds that the message of the Commissioner for Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi is clear – there will be no closing of the chapter without a resolved rule of law.
“The message from Brussels is clear, and here we see in action how the institutions that aspire to go to the EU treat the MA workers.
Simply put, Brussels is saying one thing, the Government is doing another”, Mr Đekić points out.
