The Parliament of Montenegro made a key contribution to the unblocking of both the judiciary and our European path, Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic said today during a meeting with the newly appointed European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.
Mandic, as announced by his Cabinet, pointed out that the current parliamentary majority adopted an ambitious agenda to close all negotiation chapters by 2026, for Montenegro to become a full member of the EU in 2028.
Mandic concluded that, when it comes to the EU accession process, all existing differences must be put aside, and that he is ready to make every effort to overcome all existing misunderstandings, but that no one will be able to blackmail the parliament.
Expressing satisfaction that she is in our country today, Commissioner Kos pointed out that Montenegro has a historic opportunity to become the next member of the European Union.
