There can be no compromise about core values of Montenegrin society, the least about its anti-fascist grounds, Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said.
Speaking at the sixth Congress of SUNBOR and anti-fascists of Montenegro, he expressed his respect for the work and activities of this organization, that has lasted for seven decades.
„I am honored to have a chance to speak to you today, deeply aware of the historical, national and civilizational role that anti-fascism has had”, Markovic said.
According to him, during the whole of its history, Montenegro paid its survival with the highest price – human lives.
He said there were those in Montenegro who do not accept such values, but that the reality, time and reason would be stronger with time, even in that part of the population.
„We will welcome everyone in the new Montenegro. But there will be no compromise on the core values of our society”, Markovic sad.
He believes that the idea of anti-fascism is the strength that preserves the freedom.
Markovic added that the anti-fascists will have strong and unwavering support of the Government in the future, as they did in the past.
