Medojević on govt’s borrowing: Media supporting regime try to defend a secret and suspicious transaction

Nebojša Medojević

Leader of the Movement for changes, PzP, Mr Nebojša Medojević, has again commented on the decision of the new government to borrow €750m, noting that, as soon as someone was secretly negotiating over the interest rate, there’s a reasonable doubt that he/she took same money from the provision and interest rate.

He has pointed out that no secret affairs exist with the money of taxpayers, and it’s why they’re called ‘public finances’.

“Observers and the media that support the regime are trying to defend the unconstitutional, unlawful, secret and utterly suspicious transaction of Mr Zdravko Krivokapić and Mr Milojko Spajić and the borrowing accounting for 19.2 per cent of GDP, with a suspicious interest rate of 2.875 per cent, agreed on directly, without the public being aware of it,” Mr Medojević noted.

The previous borrowing of Montenegro from October 2019 amounted to €500m with an interest rate at 2.55 per cent.
