Membership fee for DPS and SNP officials 3% and 4% respectively

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) officials on the state and local level are obliged to pay membership fee amounting to 3% of their monthly salary. The representatives of the party in the boards of directors, councils and steering committees of public companies pay a monthly membership fee amounting to 7% of their salaries.

This is stated in DPS’s decision on the way of determining membership fee for 2018, which is published on the website of the Anti-Corruption Agency.

According to the decision of Socialist People’s Party (SNP) to allocate part of the money for the party’s financing, its MPs are obliged to allocate €100 a month for the work of the party. Out of the sum, €50 is paid to the Momcilo Vucetic Foundation and the rest for the purpose of conducting party’s election campaign in the next elections.

“SNP councillors in city councils pay to the party budget a part of their councillor allowance, up to 4% of the monthly salary,” SNP says in the decision. It is also adds that public officials also have an obligation to allocate 4% of their salaries.
