Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral didn’t get authorization to organize prayer in the Temple of the Christ’s Resurrection in Podgorica last night. According to the estimates, around 450 people attended the event, which is in contravention of the measures of National Coordination Body.
Police Department said that announcement about the gathering was untimely.
“Judging by the content of the application, it is evident that gathering was planned in two phases. After the decision was rendered by the police, the clergy decided not to organize religious processions, but public gathering in the Temple and in front of it was organized and there were around 450 citizens”, it was announced unofficially.
The police captured the gathering on video and documented all the clergymen who took part in it.
