President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, has stated that he conveyed his expectation that all the government constituents are going to act in line with the reform-oriented and Euro-Atlantic priorities to the US officials during his stay in New York.
However, he didn’t answer directly to the question whether he agreed with the position that those who don’t share the US position regarding Russia shouldn’t be in the government.
According to him, it’s worrying that dialogue over the formation of a new government isn’t based on the program principles, which is, as he notes, more important than the parties which are going to enter it.
“For me, it’s fundamentally unacceptable that any political entity that has got the trust of a certain number of citizens, including ZBCG, can be excluded in advance from taking part in government,” he said, among other things.
