Constitutional court determined yesterday that the Decree for forming the maximum retail prices of oil derivatives that was brought by government is unconstitutional and illegal.
Leader of SNP Srdjan Milic said on a press conference that this is the victory of justice over force and injustice that is promoted by the government, and that it puts the end to the robbery of the citizens by the government.
SNP, added Milic, demands from the Constitutional court to make its decision public right away and that suppliers provide that citizens can buy cheaper fuel as of tomorrow morning already.
“Also, in the upcoming period, price of the fuel should be another seven cents lower in order to give the citizens back as much as the government took from them. So for 136.5 million liters of different fuels the price in next six months has to be at least 15% lower than today”, said Milic.
He said that in any democratic country the prime minister would offer his resignation right after the decision of the Constitutional court.
“And supreme prosecutor would start the investigation to determine who was responsible for the damage done to citizens of Montenegro”, concluded Milic.
Member of SNP Snezana jonica said that parliament members of this party will submit a new initiative to Consitutional court next week regarding another fee that citizens are paying that is also unconstitutional and illegal.
“It is the fee for radio transmission that citizens are paying when registering their vehicles, whether they use them or not”, said Jonica.
