Minister of Justice Andrej Milovic has announced today that his position has become easier since he is no longer a member of the Europe Now Movement (PES) and emphasized that he will continue to work in the interest of all citizens of Montenegro, not the voters, as a minister.
“We have witnessed that recently some decisions have been made by the High Court and the Appellate Court, with which I personally do not agree because they encroach on the competence of the Minister of Justice, but as you know, I did not make any comments”, Milovic said at the session of the Parliamentary Committee on European Integration.
He has recalled he pointed out several times publicly his position regarding the election of acting director of the Police Directorate.
He stresses that he is no longer a member of any political party, and that he is under no obligation to comment on anything beyond his department.
As for Chapter 23 – IBAR, he says he is absolutely open to all, as well as to further questions and comments.
