Because of Mojkovac case: DPS filed complaints to the RTCG Council and AEM

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) submitted complaints to the RTCG Council and the Agency for Electronic Media (AEM) related to the content broadcasted on 12 September 2017 in the prime time news shows related to events in Mojkovac.

The party believes that the Public Broadcaster’s report on the alleged incidents in Mojkovac constitutes a violation of programme principles established by law, as well as a violation of ethical and moral standards of professional journalism.

“Airing the aforementioned information as well as the content of the broadcast suggests the intention of using this kind of reporting in a tendentious way aimed at harming the Democratic Party of Socialists, its top officials and the government as a whole. We do not dispute the right of journalists to freely express their views or the right to independent editorial policy of the RTCG, but we note that no one, not even a journalist, must forget that their rights are limited by the rights of other persons in society, legal regulations and the code of ethics,” DPS stated.
