The Democrats face serious problems in Mojkovac. According to Dnevne Novine’s sources, the Mojkovac branch of Democratic Montenegro (DCG) has unconditionally refused to sign the statements prepared in at the party headquarters in Podgorica, thus sending a message that they do not want to participate in the media-propaganda campaign against political competition, which is being carried out in the recently launched local elections campaign.
According to DN, the leaders of the Mojkovac DCG committee have been revolted by the demands of the party leadership just to sign the tendentious party announcements prepared in advance.
The unique attitude to deny obedience is likely strengthened after the Democrats’ central office continued to deal with representatives of the political competition, in particular the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), in an inappropriate way, by media spinning. The party leadership has been told that they would not be able to act in that way in Mojkovac, regardless of whose party activists are targeted, Dnevne Novine’s source said.
