Montenegrin Community established in Peru

Montenegrin Embassy in Argentina, which covers Latin America, stated that the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the Montenegrin Community in Peru was held during the weekend.

The Montenegrin Community in Peru began to work officially a few days after it had been registered.

Alex Rojas Bozovic has been appointed the president of the community with two years term, Stana Iris Vukicevic Rubio has been appointed as the secretary, whereas Tomas Alvares Dragicevic and Drago Miguel Scekic Maurtua and Aleksandar Bozovic Granados have been appointed as treasurers.

According to available but incomplete estimates, there are about 600,000 people of Montenegrin origin living outside the country.
