It’s expected that the Montenegrin economic recovery this year will see an 8.5% increase in GDP, says the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, EBRD, in its latest report on the regional economic prospects.
According to the report, recovery will continue in 2022 with a 6% growth.
“However, negative risks still exist, mostly connected with the extended impact of the coronavirus pandemic on tourism, as well as somewhat limited fiscal space for further consumption,” suggests the EBRD.
