A Montenegro Airlines’ Embraer jet (registration code 40-AOB) will not fly by the end of April, the national airline confirmed for Dan. The engine of the aircraft was damaged on 17 February.
According to information available to Dan, the malfunction on the engine was detected before the departure from Belgrade to Podgorica. Blades on turbines were broken and it was decided that the plane would remain on the runway until further notice because it was not in a safe navigable state.
