Montenegro airports record passenger traffic growth

Our main priority in 2018 is to welcome large number of passengers and to attract new partners, thus improving our air availability. I think we did it, said Danilo Orlandić, executive director of the Airports of Montenegro in an interview for Pobjeda daily.

Company’s total revenues in the first half of the year were by 13.35 per cent higher compared to the same period last year, whereas the total profit rose by 25.11 per cent.

“I have to mention the fact that we invested a lot in a new equipment. We purchased elevators, ramp stairs and devices for safety checks and now it’s paying off.”

Orlandić emphasized last year hit record levels when it comes to passenger arrivals, but the beginning of 2018 signaled passenger volume would be at a somewhat higher level. “We had 20,000 passengers more in January compared to the same month last year, and the growth trend has been continuing! Both our airports have welcomed 1,195,000 passengers so far, which is 140,000 more passengers than in the same period last year,” said Orlandić.

We are about to step into a massive period of growth in the number of passengers and all we wanna do is welcome more passengers and provide quality service for them, Orlanidić was humblebragging.
