Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Pavle Radulovic met Mr Nimrod Rinot, Honorary Consul General of Montenegro in Israel. They agreed that a direct flight from Montenegro to Tel Aviv would significantly contribute to a higher number of tourists from Israel.
Rinot said there was a great potential to attract Israeli tourists, and Radulovic agreed.
He said actions are being taken to increase existing and establish new flights, adding that Israir company marked 2016 as very successful, and Montenegro was on the third spot of best destinations on portals Wala and Lamatayel.
“Rinot expressed interest for new companies for these destinations, and announced cheaper tickets”, it was said in the Ministry.
He also announced conference Gateway to Montenegro for this year in Budva, where investment opportunities in tourism, agricultural, etc would be presented. He asked for Ministry’s support in this endeavor.
Radulovic said that great cooperation was established between our two countries, and that we must work on its improvement in the following period.
