After an all day session, Montenegrin MPs adopted tonight another five laws in order to obtain the Interim benchmarks assessment report (IBAR) for chapters 23 and 24 – the proposal for the Media Law, the proposal for the Public Broadcaster (RTCG) Law, the proposal for the Law on Audio-Visual Media Services, the proposal for the Law amending the Law on Seizure and Confiscation of Property From Crime and the proposal for the Law on the Prevention of Corruption.
The Parliament adopted a series of laws referring to the justice system yesterday, as they’re also needed to get IBAR.
The adopted laws were: the Law on Lobbying, amendments to the Law on Criminal Proceedings, the Law on Courts, amendments to the Law on Judicial Council and Judges, amendments to the Law on the Judicial Training Centre, amendments to the Law on State Prosecution and amendments to the Law on Special State Prosecutor’s Office.
