Montenegro represents a factor of stability in the Balkans

Montenegro’s Parliament Speaker Mr Ivan Brajović received today the delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, headed by the Speaker, Mr Fernand Etgen.

Mr Brajovic emphasized Montenegro’s interest in the continuous improvement of friendly relations and cooperation with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, particularly noting the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations. In this context, he stressed the importance of maintaining the existing good dynamics of political dialogue at the highest level, as well as the fact that intensifying parliamentary cooperation is boosting the overall relations between the two countries.

Speaker of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies pointed out to the fact that Luxembourg is a friendly country that perceives the stability of the WB as a very important issue, especially having in mind that Montenegro represents a factor of stability and the country that has achieved the impressive results on its path to EU integration.

Mr Etgen underlined that they strongly support the EU enlargement, especially when it comes to Montenegro – a country that reflects stability.

Both sides agreed that the Montenegrin Diaspora represents a significant potential for intensifying bilateral, cultural and economic relations between the two countries.
