Despite the coronavirus pandemic, construction activities on the Bar-Boljare motorway are being performed in line with the agreed dynamics. Speaking about the works on the Smokovac interchange, a coordinator of construction activities from Bemax company, Milo Muhadinović, pointed out that they have been performing works on the interchange extensively, as well as on the part before the bridge, on the bridge itself and the part after the bridge.

“The emergence of COVID-19 somewhat affected the motorway construction works. Being a socially responsible company, Bemax will meet all the requirements prescribed by the Government for works on the construction site. We also ordered protective masks and Asepsol, and expect to get them on all construction sites during the day. Having in mind that there are many pregnant women working in the company, they will be able to work from their homes. In addition, all workers who need to go home to help either the elderly or their children can do so without any problems,” he said.
He also underlined that Bemax company had decided not to recruit staff from abroad while the govt’s measures are in force.
