The leader of the Europe Now Movement and Democratic Montenegro coalition Sasa Mujovic thanked the citizens who recognized their desire for Podgorica to be a bastion of freedom and, as he pointed out, did not allow the Democratic Party of Socialists to return to power in the capital.
“I think that the result we achieved, about 22%, will show how important and significant it is only in the coming days”, said Mujovic.
He stated that the campaign was dirty and cruel.
The leader of the Europe Now Movement, Milojko Spajic, pointed to the excellent result they achieved despite the terrible campaign and attacks.
“It is certain that in the two cities where we participated in the elections, we will have 2 mayors. So how could you expect a better result”, Spajic said.
He pointed out that neither people nor the PES wanted these elections.
