NATO ships practiced maneuvering in Tivat and Kotor

Ships of ADRION forces practiced sailing on a very demanding navigation route in the projected tactical formation in Tivat and Kotor.

Sailing from the bay in Tivat, through strait of Verige towards the Bay of Kotor and back, ships were practicing maneuvering of the entire formation in complex tactical machines.

Commander of the Navy of Montenegro, captain of a battle ship, Mr Vesko Tomanović, is satisfied with the exercise which engaged helicopters for the first time since 2005.

“The exercise was divided in three phases. The first phase was arrival of the ships in the port of Bar. Second phase – sailing and exercises of tactical maneuvering, sea blockage and shooting exercises. The third phase in analysis of what’s been done”, said Mr Tomanović.
