National Coordination Body for Contagious Diseases decided today, on the proposal of the Institute for Public Health and several municipal crisis headquarters, to impose new restrictive measures in every local self-government depending on the epidemic situation. New measures will become effective starting from Monday.
In accordance with the methodology of the Institute for Public Health, adopted by NCB today, the foundation for the introduction of restrictive measures will be based on tracking rates of the 14-day cumulative incidence. This rate is calculated by dividing the number of new cases of coronavirus with the number of inhabitants in the local self-government per 100.000 inhabitants.
In local self-governments where 14-day rate is:
- Lower than 400:
Strict adherence to protocols and strict control over the implementation of the epidemic measures in force shall continue.
- Between 400 and 799:
- 10pm will be closing time for hospitality facilities;
- Two persons are allowed to sit at one table on the facility and outside of the facility;
- Chairs must be separated from one another at least one meter;
- Between 800 and 1.199:
- Ban on work of hospitality facilities (restaurants, coffe shops, hotel restaurants), expect for the guests of the hotel;
b. ban on gatherings inside the housing unit, except for the members of the same household. - Higher than 1.200:
- people will be prohibited to leave their housing units from 10pm to 5am (with defined exceptions) children with disorders from the autism spectrum; wheelchair users, accompanied by one person, for a maximum of 60 minutes per day; persons who perform regular work tasks in activities allowed by orders; employees of foreign diplomatic and consular missions; persons who provide services of public interest, and are an indispensable for living and working condition of citizens (health, inspection bodies, police, army, security services, fire services, utilities, media – including guests in media shows, agricultural activities on farms, etc. .), which is proved by a certificate issued by the employer; persons taking care of persons who are not able to independently perform daily life activities due to illness, condition or consequence injuries, which is proven by a certificate issued by the chosen doctor of these persons; and persons taking care of pets, for a maximum of 60 minutes a day;
- ban on the work of hospitality facilities except for the guests of the hotel;
- gatherings in housing units are prohibited;
Implementation of restrictions starts on the third day from the day the CI rate was established, i.e. on Monday at 00:00.
Decision on easing restrictions is rendered automatically every 14 days, depending on the values of rates.
Judging by the current data, the toughest restrictions will be in force in Nikšić, Berane and Andrijevica, starting from Monday.
Start of school year
Analyzing epidemic situation and conditions for the start of school year, NCB has tasked Ministry of Education to consider and establish all relevant parameters until Monday and inform the public on all aspects of the start of school year.
With the aim of curbing the spread of the virus among children and students, NCB decided to amend the order referring to mask-wearing. In accordance with the amendments, children over 5 years of age will also be required to wear face mask.
NCB has proposed to the Ministry of Health to render decision on the compensation for healthcare staff dealing with COVID-19 patients.
Until September 25, 2020, at 09:00, the inflow was €8,159,114.12 euros and $75,971.72 and the outflow amounted to €2,958,869.13, and accordingly the balance on the account is €5,200,244.99 and $75,971, 72.
