Nearly EUR 117 million for roads construction

At least 37.4 million euro will be allocated for the construction of motorways in our country by 15 June, whereas a total of 117.19 million euro will be spent by the end of the year, the government’s proposal for the forthcoming summer season envisages.

“By analyzing the submitted data, we concluded that some municipalities haven’t determined neither deadlines nor their budgets for completion of activities,” the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism reported.

By mid-June, reconstruction of 8 main and regional roads in Montenegro worth a total of 31.88 million euro will be finished. This mainly refers to the Cetinje-Njegusi road worth 9.55 million euro.

Construction works continue on the Cetinje-Budva main road, primarily on two sections- Košljun- Zavala, worth a total of 1.1 million euro, and Brajići-Lapčići worth 7.6 million euro, as well as on the repair of rockfall in Brajići, costing 950,256 euro.

The sections where construction works are being performed as well are: Crkvice-Vrulja leading from Slijepač bridge and the one which leads to Pavino Polje.

3.33 million euro will be spent for construction works in Lepenac, and another 3,59 million euro for reconstruction of the road from Petrovići to the border crossing with Bosnia and Herzegovina (Vraćenovići).

Construction works will continue throughout the whole year, worth a total of 79.79 million euro.
