Dragan Stojkovic from Tivat and Vladimir Lemajic from Niksic have been arrested on suspicion of having participated in the murder of Podgorica resident Ivan Nedovic.
According to information obtained by CdM, Stojkovic is being questioned over suspicion that he had purchased a vehicle by which two men drove in front of the Auto Zeta garage and attempted to kill Milic Minja Sakovic. Sakovic was sitting at the same table with Nedovic. He was wounded in the shooting.
Lemajic is to be questioned during the day.
Nedovic (33) was killed in the shooting that took place on 8 September in a café operating within the Auto-Zeta garage in the Vaka Djurovica street in Podgorica.
After leaving the car driven by a masked person, the attacker approached the glass wall of the cafe where Nedovic and Sakovic sat and start shooting through it.
After the shooting, he returned to the car and drove away in an unknown direction.
On the same day, police found attackers’ BMW car burnt in the village of Donje Mrke near Podgorica. An automatic rifle was also found in the car, which was sent to the Danilovgrad-based Forensic Centre for analysis.
Nedovic succumbed to injuries on his way to the hospital, while Sakovic was urgently operated and kept hospitalised for further treatment.
Nedovic was the owner of Auto-Zeta. He has two children.
Milic Minja Sakovic has been known to police, since he committed several criminal offenses in Podgorica. He is allegedly associated with Skaljari clan.
He was arrested several times for possessing weapons. He is suspected of participating in the murder of the Partizan FC fan Aleksandar Stankovic, dubbed Sale Mutavi (29).
Also, six years ago he was sentenced to a year in prison for extortion.
