Government of Montenegro adopted today the Information on the Support to the Establishment of new Centers of Excellence. The Information presented results of the new contest.
Center of Excellence for Digital Technology in the field of Food Safety and Food Authenticity, Food Hub, is the top ranked center. Professor Aleksandra Martinović is the manager.
Center related to research in bio-medicine is ranked second. It is managed by Ms Vjeroslava Slavić.
The new contest resulted in two high-quality proposals. Ministry of Science is going to begin financing negotiations soon.
Minister of Science, Ms Sanja Damjanović, said that total value of these two projects amounted to €2,5 million.
Ms Damjanović touched on the recently adopted Smart Specialization strategy. Centers of excellence are very important instruments of its implementation.
