The curfew will not be valid between Saturday and Sunday, and the ban on inter-city traffic at weekends remains in force, Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović has announced at today’s regular press conference.
She adds that 201,200 Chinese Sinopharm vaccines left for Montenegro yesterday and “will arrive in our country on Saturday, 1 May. Given that it is holiday and that vaccines must pass regular control at Torlak, which takes 3 to 5 days, we will announce the date of the beginning of the mass vaccination soon”, she has explained.
The Minister says that the borders are open for arrivals from Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia.
The director of the Public Health Institute Igor Galić states that the epidemic curve has shown the best level since September, which is the result of measures and citizens who respected them.
Vaccination points will work during the holidays, and citizens will be able to re-vaccinate with the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Answering the question about the crowds in health centers where patients do not respect the measures, Ms Borovinić Bojović has announced the opening of a new Covid center at Stari Aerodrom in order to reduce the possibility of creating crowds in health centers.
