A scandalous and shameful attack on Dr Ilija Ašanin proves that our society is sliding towards a complete loss of collective consciousness, and the current government is contributing to it, the DPS Municipal Board in Nikšić stated today, adding that they are going to retaliate if this continues.
The DPS Municipal Board in Nikšić points out that even people from the most respected professions, such as health professionals, are not spared in this situation – on the contrary, they are being labeled and attacked by destructive groups.
“We consider continuation of the atmosphere of lynching on a national, ethnic and religious basis to be extremely disastrous, because in such current and future situation, our state is only going to reach the bottom.”
Competent bodies, they say, must urgently protect all citizens from chauvinism and other forms of intolerance, regardless of their party affiliation.
