The Niksic local elections were held on Sunday – 13 April – with the Democratic Party of Socialists and For the Future of Niksic winning the largest number of votes, according to preliminary data of the Municipal Election Commission.

The data also suggest that a total of 42.012, i.e. 72.95% of voters cast their ballot.

“The list run by the Democratic Party of Socialists, that is, Boris Muratovic won the biggest number of votes – 14.580, i.e. 35.12% of voters’ support, followed by the list called ‘For the Future of Niksic – Marko Kovacevic – Niksic Knows the Best! We Keep Going!’ with 14.381 votes, i.e. 34.64%,” the Niksic Election Commission has stated.
