No elections in Budva for now

Budva

Budva Municipal Board of the Montenegrin party (Montenegrin: Crnogorska) has decided that party should be part of the ruling coalition in the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism. This opens another issue – does this represent an act of corruption and what made them decide to spare Budva of new elections and therefore extend the term of office of the ruling coalition, led by the Democrats and the Democratic Front (DF).

As for the Democrats’ view on this matter, here’s what they said: “Budva Municipal Board of the Democratic Montenegro adopted the decision on extending the existing ruling coalition to candidates of the Montenegrin party. In this way, the Democrats and our coalition partners at the local level prevented the Democratic Party of Socialists’ (DPS) attempt to take over power in the Municipality of Budva,” the Democrats have proudly stated.
