No significant issues have been detected when it comes to the implementation of the Europe Now 2 Program, representatives of the Association of Employers and the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro (USSCG) said in a morning TV show aired on TVCG.
USSCG notes that it’s too early to make conclusions regarding the mentioned program, as not all employees have received their October wages.
As the representative of USSCG Ivana Mihajlovic says, they get calls these days from employees who want to know whether their wages were calculated well.
Although USSCG advocated for another model of increasing wages, they fully supported the Europe Now 2 Program as well.
“We hope all employers will meet their obligations, as they were the ones who fully backed the Europe 2 Program, so that’s why we expect it to be fully implemented. Employees who were receiving the minimum wage are most likely very satisfied with this increase,” Ms Mihajlovic notes.
The Association of Employers of Montenegro notes they haven’t received complaints regarding the implementation of the fiscal strategy, that is, the increase in salaries through Europe Now 2.
