Montenegrin government will not sell the Airports of Montenegro, prime minister Dusko Markovic is clear.
Asked about government’s plans related to valorisation and prospects of the Airports, Markovic points out that the options of valorisation of the company are carefully analysed within the government in order to achieve the overall development of the economy.
“What is absolutely certain, neither we have mentioned nor considered selling the Airports – there will be no sale, but only valorisation of the Airports,” the prime minister said, adding that certain entities are seriously interested in the company,
In order to respond to such interests, the government and IFC are already preparing a serious analysis, after which the government will be able to make decision and inform the public about it.
As the prime minister noted, there credible investors who are seriously interested and willing to invest about $110m during one year to valorise the airports in Podgorica and Tivat.
