The former director of the Revenue and Customs Administration, Rade Milosevic, is accused of being the head of a criminal organization, said Special Prosecutor Vladimir Novovic in the Vijesti TV’s Nacisto talk-show.
“After the Special State Prosecutor’s Office collected enough evidence for the existence of grounds for suspicion that Rade Milosevic committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization, the acting prosecutor ordered yesterday that he be deprived of his liberty”, said Novovic.
He announced that Milosevic was accused of being the head of a criminal organization.
Commenting on the document published by SDP leader Rasko Konjevic, Novovic could not comment on its credibility.
He pointed out that the Special State Prosecutor’s Office acted independently and without any external influence.
“There is no political influence, or any other agency or service, that could force the Special State Prosecutor’s Office to work against the law”, Novovic was clear.
Commenting on the outgoing PM Dritan Abazovic’s accusations that former police official Zoran Lazovic and businessman Ranko Ubovic want to liquidate him, Novovic said that a case was formed regarding that statement and was in the investigation phase.
