Montenegrin citizens have no reason for concern, and the security situation in the country is stable, claims interior minister Mevludin Nuhodzic.
Responding to MPs’ questions in Parliament, Nuhodzic said that the police achieved significant results. He believes they are evident, despite the fact that someone might challenge them, Mina news agency reports.
“We are accountable to the citizens of Montenegro and I invite them to report criminals, violent people, street drug dealers, loan sharks and racketeers. Thus they will help us to have even better results and to improve the overall security system through partnership and cooperation,” Nuhodzic said.
He pointed out that he understood a certain upset and dissatisfaction among citizens after the recent incidents in Podgorica, but that citizens had no reason to worry and that the security situation was stable.
