The annual target has been met and the tasks and activities implemented by the ministry and the Police Directorate have been marked by quality and enthusiasm, said interior minister Mevludin Nuhodzic.
“There are multiple reasons to be satisfied this year – we jointly contributed to Montenegro’s membership in NATO and thus fulfilled the first strategic foreign policy goal. I believe that the officers of the ministry and the Police Directorate will continue to be the driving force for the country’s progress on the EU path,” he said.
The minister said that in the next period there will be new investments in human resources, as well as material and technical capacities in order to the institutions to appropriately respond to the challenges of the complex current moment at the national, regional and global level.
