Former minister of foreign affairs and former ambassador to the United States, Miodrag Vlahovic, has officially become the ambassador of Montenegro to the Holy See in the Vatican and the Sovereign Maltese Order, it’s confirmed to CdM.
His agrement was approved by the Holy See.
This long-time diplomat and the first foreign minister in an independent Montenegro will take over the duties of former ambassador Veselin Sukovic whose term of office expired at the end of July.
Vlahovic was the first foreign minister of Montenegro who was in an official visit to the Vatican in December 2005.
