Draft plan for the ‘Kasarna Morača’ urban project, developed by the Republic Institute for Urban Planning and Design, RZUP, which envisages construction of the opera house on this location in the capital, has been in compliance with all the suggestions given during the public hearing, according to the ‘Kana’ group.
The capital’s Secretariat for Spatial Planning says another public hearing has been envisaged in order to check whether this planned document is aligned with the initial draft.
Milica Vujošević, a representative of the ‘Kana’ group, has been extremely satisfied with the proposed plan.
She told Pobjeda daily: “Compared to the first draft plan, which was scandalous for the most of its part, this proposed solution obviously accepted all suggestions given during the public hearing, and what’s even more important, it takes into account all the qualities of the location and proposes the most acceptable solution.“
The Secretariat for Spatial Planning in the capital earlier reported that the RZUP had submitted the proposal for the ‘Kasarna Moraca’ urban project on 31 August. According to them, the draft plan has been developed based on suggestions of citizens and institutions and is substantially different from the one initial one.
