Montenegrin MPs spent €51,415 from the Parliament budget, from January to November last year, on phone calls, Parliament stated to Pobjeda. Although boycotting Parliament throughout the 11-month period, opposition MPs didn’t waive the privilege of those phone calls and spent a total of €21,875 on them. Of all the opposition MPs, only Aleksa Becic’s DCG MPs waved their right to Parliament funded phone calls.
SDP leader Ranko Krivokapic and SDP official Dzavid Sabovic were the ones using the privilege the most, as well as URA leader Dritan Abazovic, who spent €994, €987 and €989 on phone bills respectively.
When it comes to Parliament officials, deputy speaker Branimir Gvozdenovic spent the most, ie €2,848, on phone bills from January to November. He is followed by deputy speaker Genci Nimanbegu, who spent €965 from the budget on telephone calls.
It’s interesting that the lowest phone bills were made by Parliament speaker Ivan Brajovic, who spent only €35 in ten months.
